Welcome to Preschool!
Last we began our study on Dino's. We have been busy painting and drawing pictures of what we think the earth looked like while the Dino's were alive. On Tuesday we measured to see how many of our feet would fit inside of a T-Rex's footprint. We had some great guesses anywhere from 3 too 100. We figured out that 8 of our footprints fit!! :) We will continue to work on Dino's in the next few weeks.
This week the children have also taken great interest in our gears. I think this will be an area of study sometime soon!! :)
Just a little note: The kiddos are more than welcome to bring in a stuffed animal to cuddle with during rest, but please make sure it is not an extra large animal. We have trouble fitting things into their backpacks when they bring in large stuffed animals to rest with!! Thanks

Whats happening this Month: January
This month we have some exciting topics we are going to study! We will begin by exploring everything winter. Lets hope we get a little snow so that we can perform some neat science experiments. In addition to our study of winter we will be going back to the time of the Dinosaurs. This is one of my favorite studies. We will explore T-rex foot prints, different types of Dinos and their names as well as what the word extinct means. Get ready to pronounce those tricky Dino's names!! :)
